The Problem
In large construction workflows, tender evaluation, risk analysis, and project execution are often handled across multiple departments using disconnected systems. This creates delays, miscommunication, and poor visibility when making critical business decisions like whether to bid or not. The challenge was to bring all of this into a single, structured platform where every department could work in sync while maintaining clarity and control over their responsibilities.
My Role
I worked as a Senior Front-End Engineer & Team Lead, but my role went beyond just development. I directly communicated with stakeholders and multiple departments to understand real business workflows Translated complex requirements into clear documentation and system flows Led the front-end team and guided the overall development process Worked closely with UI/UX designers to shape intuitive user journeys Collaborated with backend teams to ensure structured APIs and smooth data flow Stayed connected with end users throughout to refine the system based on actual usage
Solution
Instead of just building screens, I focused on structuring the entire experience around how the business actually operates. Designed a modular frontend architecture to handle multiple user roles and workflows Helped define clear data structures and API interactions with the backend team Created logical user flows for tender analysis, risk calculation, and approval processes Ensured each department could manage its own responsibilities while staying aligned with the overall system The goal was simple: make complex decision-making easier, faster, and more transparent.
